Our food pantry's mission is to provide food assistance and support to those in need in our Farmville community and Pitt County. We believe that no one should go hungry and we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
In 2016, Word of Truth Anointed Ministries started the Shepherd's Food Pantry. We are 501c3 and a partner agency of the Foodbank of Central & Eastern North Carolina and has been serving Pitt County and the surrounding counties for over 7 years. We are located in Farmville, North Carolina. In 2022, we received more than 205,840 pounds of food donations from the foodbank which enabled us to to provide 171,533 meals to food insecure households.
Shepherd's food pantry has free food giveaway every Friday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm and Saturdays from 10:00am to 12:00pm. We are committed to serving those experiencing food insecurity in Pitt County and especially in our community, Farmville.
